Entry Requirements
Entry requirements vary depending on the course. Students must meet the academic, English language, age and course-specific requirements listed on the relevant course page. International students must also meet visa requirements set by the Department of Home Affairs.
Meeting IMC entry requirements does not guarantee a student visa outcome.
Students please note that IMC conducts LLND test and English test as well to assess the skills and knowledge of the learner. If LLND skills of the learner is not found as required, IMC provide the extra support and resources for free of cost. IMC does not not recruit students under 18 years of age.
Age Requirements
For international students IMC has a requirement that all students must be over 18 years of age at the commencement of course. IMC will not recruit any under 18 age international student.
LLND TEST
IMC will conduct LLND entry test on the Orientation day. It is usual for all learners to do LLND test on orientation day to assess their Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills. Low level of LLND is not barrier to get admission in the qualification. IMC will provide extra resources and support for learner having low level of LLND. Students Visa Requirement (for International Students)
You must provide evidence that satisfies the assessment factors applicable to you to the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) to be granted a student visa. Assessment factors include your financial ability, English proficiency, likely compliance with the conditions of your visa and any other matters considered relevant to assessing your application. Students Currently in Australia (for International Students)
Prospective international students who are currently enrolled with another registered provider can apply for entry to a course at the Institute. In accordance with the National Code 2018 and ESOS Act 2000, they must have completed six months of their study in principal course of study with their previous registered provider by the time of commencement. IMC will not knowingly enrol a student who has not completed this requirement.
